Description
Italy Student Visa Long-Term is a national Visa Type D given to students who wish to study in Italy for a period of more than 90 days, both at public and private institutions. The validity and period of stay is 120 days. After arriving in Italy, the applicant can apply for a Permanent Residence Permit. The application procedure can be initiated no earlier than 90 days and no later than 45 days before the planned departure date. Applications can be submitted as early as 6 months before departure. After applying, the passport cannot be taken home until the visa process is complete. For physical documents submission or document delivery, you can choose to pick up or collect at Everest Operations office, or choose for delivery add-on during checkout.

Am I eligible for this visa?
- 1. Applicant need to complete all the process determined by Uni-Italia Indonesia, including:
- Declaration of Value (DoV)
- Pre Enrollment Online
- Physical Pre Enrollment
- Enrollment
- 2. Passport with this following criteria:
- Contains at least 2 blank pages
- Issued within the previous 10 years
- Validity at least 1 year and 3 month before departure
- Contains the signature of the passport holder
- No correctional / additional items are allowed on the endorsement page (page 4 or 5). You will need replace it with a new passport containing the correct data
- 3. No record of overstaying in any European country.
- 4. No criminal record or ongoing legal cases.
- 5. You can show proof of sufficient funds to cover your entire stay.
- 6. No history of working illegally while on a visa.
- 7. Never been deported from any country.
- If the applicant is under 18 years old: Applications must be submitted by both parents (even if they are traveling together or even if the parents hold visas), this means that the parents will have to come in person.

Enrollment Certificate of Education Institution in Italy *
Certificate of enrollment or registration letter from the Italian School or University or any other officially recognized institution, specifying the type of course, the duration, the date of beginning and the complete address of the Institute or University. *Note: The document must be certified that the course will have at least 20 hours of classes per week*
Sponsorship letter from family *
Sponsorship letter from direct family belongs in the same family card. You can download the template here
Passport *
Passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure date.
Colored photo 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm *

Official government-issued identity card that serves as proof of identity and residence.

Proof of Accommodation (Italy) *
- Dummy is allowed - Accommodation at least the first 2 weeks after departure
Flight booking *
Inbound and outbound tickets to destined country, or you can purchase a flight booking assistance here
Travel Insurance (Education) *
The insurance policy must contain the following information: - Name of person covered and period of validity - Coverage of medical expenses up to equivalent of €30,000 - Coverage of the entire Schengen area - not just Italy - Coverage of the Entire Period of stay in Schengen We suggest you to have insurance till December 31st, and you can start to buy local insurance in Italy (called SSN) starting January 1st You need to provide the travel insurance file here, or you can purchase it here
Bank statement for the last 3 months (wet stamped) *
Bank statement for the last 3 months with a wet stamp from the bank. It's advisable to have a stable bank statement with no sudden fluctuations in funds or balance to increase your approval rate. Include: - Applicant's name and address - Bank account number
Proof of Financial for Italy Student Visa *
Proof of financial support for study visas are €534.41 monthly (equal to €6,947.33 equal to 13 months saving account). This availability can be proven through: - Proof of personal of family resource - Financial guarantee from an accredited Italian institution or body/local government/foreign institution/body deemed reliable by the Embassy
Family certificate *
Certificate that shows that you & your dependent are family from your country
Birth certificate *
Birth certificate showing full name, date, and place of birth.
Marriage Certificate *
Official proof of your marital status. You can obtain it from your local civil registry office.
