Description
Sweden Student Residence Permit is a long-term residence permit for students who plan to study at a Swedish university or higher education institution for more than 90 days. It can be extended if the study period exceeds one year. It must be obtained before departure and applies to international students admitted to: - Bachelor’s or master’s program. - *Upper secondary education* program. - Student exchange program. After applying for your visa, you will not be able to take home your passport while your visa application is being processed. For physical documents submission or document delivery, you can choose to pick up or collect at Everest Operations office, or choose for delivery add-on during checkout.

Sweden Student Health Insurance *
- Studies under 1 year require comprehensive health insurance valid for your entire stay in Sweden. It must cover emergencies, medical care, hospitalisation, emergency dental care, and medical repatriation. - Studies 1 year or longer require registration in Sweden’s *Population Register*, which provides access to healthcare, medical services, and dental care.
Proof of Financial for Sweden Student *
Minimum funds: - without benefits: SEK 10,584/month. - With free food: minimum funds SEK 7,644/month (proof required). - With free housing: minimum funds SEK 5,880/month (proof required). Accepted proofs: - Personal bank account (bank statements of 4 months). - Proof of scholarship support. - Proof of sponsorship (letter and bank account). - Income from employment (employment certificate).
Letter of Attorney for Schengen Visa *
If you already obtained Schengen Visa within the last 59 months, you are eligible to exempt the biometric process. By providing a Letter of Attorney, Everest can submit your documents and pick up your passport on your behalf. Upload a filled and signed template of Letter of Attorney here
Proof of Accommodation (Sweden) *
- If you stay with a host family, provide a letter from the family with accommodation details. - If you stay with relatives/acquaintances, provide a letter from your parents stating the person’s details and relationship to you. - If you live independently, provide proof of accommodation.
Historical visas and immigration stamps (Optional) *
History of visas and immigration stamps from any country, including those in your expired previous passport, to support your visa application and increase the approval rate.
