United States J-2 Visa is a non-immigrant visa for spouses and dependents (unmarried children under the age of 21) of J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa holders. This visa allows family members to accompany or join the J-1 visa holder during the exchange program in the United States. For physical documents submission or document delivery, you can choose to pick up or collect at Everest Operations office, or choose for delivery add-on during checkout. Notes: - Appointment schedules are subject to availability provided by the U.S. Embassy. - The validity of this visa depends on the validity period of the J-1 visa holder.

Am I eligible for this visa?
- 1. Legal spouse of a J-1 visa holder.
- 2. Unmarried biological or adopted children under 21 years of age.
- 3. Not eligible for J-1 program categories: au pair, camp counselor, secondary school student, and summer work travel.
- 4. For other J-1 categories, J-2 eligibility depends on the approved exchange program and sponsor authorization.
- 5. Must not have been refused a U.S. visa within the past six months.
- 6. Passport must be valid for at least three months beyond the intended departure date from the United States.
- 7. Passport must contain at least two blank visa pages.
- 8. Passport must have been issued within the last ten years.

- New photos, no older than six months; never been used in any previous visas - Plain white photo background - No white shirt - Photo size 2x2 inches (5x5 cm) or 600x600 to 1200x1200 pixels in digital version; - Faces take up 70% of the photo - Eye glasses are not allowed to be worn for US Visa photos - No edit allowed

Bank statement of 6 months *
Provide with bank statement for the last 6 months. The amount of money in the Bank account must be enough to cover applicants tuition fee and living cost. Applicants can upload personal, spouse, or parents bank accounts. For spouse and parents bank account, please upload along with statement letter, stating that your tuition fee and living cost will be covered by third parties.
Bank reference *
Bank reference letter issued by the bank with a wet stamp and the bank’s contact number. The letter must state the current balance in your account.
National ID (KTP) *
Official government-issued identity card that serves as proof of identity and residence.
Family certificate *
Certificate that shows that you & your dependent are family from your country
Birth certificate *
Birth certificate showing full name, date, and place of birth.
Form DS-2019 for J2 *
Provide an approved original signed Form DS-2019 from your U.S. school or program for the dependent J1 holder.
Proof of relationship with J1 visa holder *
Provide the proof of relationship with a J1 visa holder such as a marriage certificate, family card, or birth certificate.
Letter of Attorney for USA Visa *
Letter of Attorney to pick-up passport from USA Embassy, which is signed on top of a stamp duty. Download template here. We will require you to submit the hardcopy.
J1 Visa of main applicant (sponsor) (Optional) *
A copy of the J1 visa of the principal applicant (sponsor), required if the J2 application is submitted separately.
Passport of main applicant (sponsor) (Optional) *
A copy of passport of the principal applicant (sponsor)/J1 visa holder, required if the J2 application is submitted separately.
Certificate of employment *
Certificate of Current Employment : - Printed with letterhead - Wet-stamped - Wet-signed by the person in charge - Include details of address of company, job title, join date, contact person of responsible person - A statement in the employment proof should indicating the period during which the company grants the applicant permission to travel (e.g., from February 1st, 2025, to February 7th, 2025). - A statement should confirming that the applicant will return to Indonesia after the specified period.
