Description
The Spain Family Reunification Visa allows eligible family members of foreign nationals who legally reside in Spain to join and live with them. The family members will be the applicant's sponsor. This visa does not apply to family members of EU, EEA, or Swiss citizens. The application must be submitted within 2 months after notification of the approved family reunification authorization. The visa is valid for 90 days for entry into Spain. After arrival, the applicant must apply for a Foreigner Identification Card (TIE) within 1 month at the relevant Foreign Nationals’ Office or Police Station. For this visa application, official government documents such as the Family Certificate, National ID, Police Clearance Certificate, Marriage Certificate, or Divorce Certificate must be translated into Spanish by a sworn translator.

- Family members who can obtain a family reunification visa
- 1. The spouse, not separated in fact or in law. Reunification cannot be offered to more than one spouse or partner.
- 2. The children of the applicant, the children of the spouse or partner—including adopted children (provided that the adoption is valid in Spain)—and those represented legally by the applicant, provided that they are under the age of 18 or that they have disabilities and are not objectively capable of providing for their own needs due to their health status.
- 3. The applicant's parents (mother or father) and those of their spouse or partner, provided that they are in the care of the applicant, they are older than 65 and there are reasons substantiating the need to authorize their residence in Spain. On an exceptional basis, and for humanitarian reasons, the reunification of parents under the age of 65 may be permitted
- For this visa application, official government documents such as the Family Certificate, National ID, Police Clearance Certificate, Marriage Certificate, or Divorce Certificate must be translated into Spanish by a sworn translator.

Passport *
The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the departure date. Name must be consistent across the passport, birth certificate, ID card, and family card, if there is any discrepancy, a PM1 (Name Discrepancy Letter) issued by the local district office is required.

National ID (KTP) Apostilled and Spanish Translated *
National ID (KTP) that has been apostilled by Kemenkumham and must be submitted together with an official translation into Spanish
Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK) Apostilled and Spanish Translated *

Birth certificate (apostilled and Spanish translated) *
This document should be apostilled by Kemenkumham. Provide both original copy and translated version Spanish language, issued by a sworn-translator.

Divorce Certificate (apostilled and Spanish translated) *

Medical Certificate for Spain (Apostilled and Spanish Translated) *
Medical certificate accrediting that the applicant does not suffer from any disease that could cause serious repercussions for public health pursuant to the 2005 International Health Regulations. Document must be legalized or apostilled by Kemenkumham, and must be submitted together with an official translation into Spanish
