Description
This visa is intended for foreign ship crew who will work and join a vessel in Italy under a subordinate employment relationship. It allows the applicant to enter Italy to carry out their duties as a crew member in accordance with the employment contract agreed upon with the company or ship owner. After completion, you can collect your visa and passport at the Everest Operations Office, or opt for delivery add-on during checkout.

Am I eligible for this visa?
- 1. Must be officially employed as a ship crew member under a valid employment contract.
- 2. Must provide a confirmed assignment or embarkation plan in Italy.
- 3. No visa refusals for any Schengen country within the past 3–6 months.
- 2. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months after you leave the Schengen area.
- 3. Passport must have at least 2 blank pages.
- 4. No history of overstaying in any European country.
- 7. Must have sufficient funds to cover the entire duration of stay.
- 8. Travel purpose must be clear and consistent across all documents.

Passport should be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure date.
Birth certificate *
Birth certificate showing full name, date, and place of birth.
Family certificate *
Certificate that shows that you & your dependent are family from your country
National ID (KTP) *
Official government-issued identity card that serves as proof of identity and residence.
Colored photo 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm *

Travel insurance *
Upload your full travel insurance policy, including coverage details. The insurance must comply with visa requirements and cover your destination country for the entire duration of your stay. You can upload your own policy, or purchase travel insurance through SPUN via the add-ons section. Notes: - For Schengen Visa, must include COVID-19 coverage with a minimum total coverage of EUR 30,000, and use an accepted insurance provider by the European Union. See list here

Signature page of passport *
Copy of the page which contain your signature in your passport. It could be in the last page or in the Endorsement page
Sponsor ID *
A scan of the company's/person's sponsor ID.
Marriage Certificate *
Official proof of your marital status. You can obtain it from your local civil registry office.
Divorce Certificate *
Certificate that shows proof of your relationship status from your country
Letter of Attorney for Schengen Visa (Optional) *
If you already obtained Schengen Visa within the last 59 months, you are eligible to exempt the biometric process. By providing a Letter of Attorney, Everest can submit your documents and pick up your passport on your behalf. Upload a filled and signed template of Letter of Attorney here
KITAS/KITAP *
Scan of your latest KITAS or KITAP.
Seaman’s Book (Italy) *
Official seafarer identity document that must remain valid for the entire duration of the assignment. The Seaman’s Book should be active and not expired until the end of the employment contract, and must clearly show personal details and sailing records.
Contract of employment *
Valid contract of employment signed by both the applicant and the foreign based employer
Employment/sponsor letter (Italy) *
Official letter in English issued by the local maritime agency, confirming the applicant’s employment. The letter must include the list of seamen assigned to the vessel and clearly state their employment status on board.
Invitation Letter from Maritime Agency in Italy *
Official invitation letter issued by a maritime agency in Italy, indicating the embarkation location where the ship crew will board the vessel. The letter must be duly endorsed or legalized by the Italian Port Authority (Capitaneria di Porto).
Certificate of the Ship’s Nationality *

Ship Registration Documents in the International Register *
