Australia Temporary Activity Visa (Subclass 408) – Special Program Stream allows applicants to come to Australia temporarily to take part in an approved special program with the purpose of cultural exchange. There are 4 types of eligible special programs: - Cultural enrichment or community benefits program - School Language Assistants program - School-to-school Interchange program - Youth exchange program.

- 1. Applicant who apply this visa should with the purpose of taking part in an approved cultural exchange program such as cultural enrichment or community benefits program, School Language Assistants program, School-to-school Interchange program, or Youth exchange program.
- 2. You must be the right age for the special program you apply for, in which:
- For Cultural enrichment or community benefits program: Minimum 18 years old
- For School Language Assistants program: 18 - 30 years old
- For School-to-school Interchange program: 17 - 25 years old
- For Youth exchange program: 18 - 30 years old

Official government-issued identity card that serves as proof of identity and residence.

Program Invitation Letter (Australia) *
Attach invitation letter to participate in the special program. The letter should include: 1. length of proposed stay in Australia 2. name, address and telephone number of the place where you will undertake the activity in Australia 3. details of all duties/activities to be performed 4. any proposed training to be undertaken 5. wages/salary, stipend or allowances that will be paid 6. any cost that the participant will incur during your stay 7. the arrangements which are in place for your support and general welfare during your stay in Australia, such as conditions, costs, proposed deductions, health insurance; and 8. Special Programmes Agreement (SPA) reference number (if applicable).
Curriculum Vitae (CV) *
History of working experiences and education background with your current position in the company/institution.
Bank statement of 3 months *
Bank statement for the last 3 months (PDF e-statement or scanned version). It's advisable to have a stable bank statement with no sudden fluctuations in funds or balance to increase the approval rate.
Acknowledgement of Unpaid Placement (Optional) *
If unpaid, provide evidence of acknowledgement of unpaid placement agreed upon and signed by the nominee and sponsor.
Sponsor bank statement *
Bank statement of your sponsor.
Sponsorship letter from institution/company *
Original sponsorship letter with letterhead and stamp from institution/company who sponsor you. You can download the template here
Birth certificate (original copy and English translation) *

Consent to grant Australian visa for a child *
Child under 18 years old traveling to Australia alone or accompanied by only one parent is required to fill out Form 1229. If the child is traveling with both parents, this form is not required.
Sponsorship letter from family *
Sponsorship letter from direct family belongs in the same family card. You can download the template here
Sponsor person bank statement *
Bank statement of the last 3 months from a person who sponsor your travel.
